Louise B. Murphy

Louise Bedron Murphy, age 95 of Orange, beloved wife of the late John G. Murphy, died peacefully on November 15, 2020 at the West River Rehab Center, Milford.  Born in Ansonia on February 24, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Muta Bedron.  Mrs. Murphy graduated from Ansonia High School in 1941 and worked as a bookkeeper for the former Federal Beef Co. for over 20 years.  She then worked for the Central Painting Co., until the time of her retirement in 1987.  She was a member of the Orange Senior Center.  Mrs. Murphy lived a long and interesting life and is survived by several nieces and nephews, Patricia Bedrone/niece and caregiver, Leslie (Bedron) Blankschen and family/niece, Anthony and Loren (Bedron) Scarinzi and family/niece, Brian and Susan Bedron and family/nephew, Louis and Georgia Jordan/nephew and Godson. In addition to her husband of 35 years, she was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Estelle (Bedron) and Ernie Frauenberger, Julia (Jay Bedron) and Symeon Bruchal and their son Richard Bruchel, Sr., Mary (Midge Bedron) and Frank Russo, John and Ruth (Swedberg) Bedrone and their son Eugene Murphy, Peter and Joyce (Arena) Bedron, Theodore M. Bedrone and Michael Bedron; and nephew-in-law, Ed Blankschen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 20, 2020 in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Avenue, Ansonia.  Interment will follow in Sts.
