Obituary of Mary Ann Patulak

Mary Ann Szpak Patulak, age 79, beloved wife of Michael Patulak of Prospect, died peacefully on August 28, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital, with her family by her side.  Born in Waterbury on September 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Kima Szpak.  Mrs. Patulak was a homemaker and member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church where she served as Secretary of the Mother’s Club and was the first Vice President of the Home-School Association.  She enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses & flower beds; trips to Florida and various casinos and watching the UCONN Lady Huskies Basketball.  She will be long remembered for her special love for her family and her trademark chocolate chip cookies. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she is survived by her devoted sons, Robert Patulak of Prospect, Jeffrey (Mindy) Patulak of MA and Thomas (Kimberly) Patulak of AR; a sister, Andrea Dixon of FL; cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Tyler and Maleah Patulak all of AR.   Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia.  Interment will follow in Sts.
