Obituary of Eli William Beecher

Eli William Beecher, age 29, beloved husband of Natalie Yocher Beecher of Beacon Falls, died December 12, 2016 in Waterbury Hospital. Born in Middletown on March 21, 1987, he was the son of Gary and Elizabeth Miller Beecher of Guilford. Mr. Beecher was raised in Guilford and graduated from The Sound School of New Haven. He worked as a Construction Foremen for the Birmingham Construction Company for 10 years. A devoted husband and father, he enjoyed hiking, camping with his family (although camping may not have always been his favorite activity) as well as fishing and being at peace in the outdoors. A loyal fan of the Seattle Sea Hawks, Sunday NFL Football Games became a family tradition in the Beecher household, complete with tailgate fare and friendly rivalries. In addition to his parents and wife of nine years, he is survived by his cherished daughters, Abigail and Sophia Beecher and his infant son, Ryan, born just 30 hours following his death, all of Beacon Falls; sisters, Erin Miller of New Haven and Carly Tucker and her husband, Shayne of TX; nephews, Andrew Miller of Guilford and Mason Tucker of TX; as well as many cousins, in-laws, and friends. A Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 7:00 PM, in the Christ Church Quaker Farms, 470 Quaker Farms Rd, (Rte. 188) Oxford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM, until the time of service. Interment will be private.
