Obituary of Carolyn Virginia Yandell

YANDELL- Carolyn V. Yandell, age 73, beloved wife of Frank E. Yandell of Ansonia, died peacefully on December 10, 2015 at Waterbury Hospital. Born in Salem, MA on May 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Page. Mrs. Yandell was an Ansonia resident of 34 years and worked as a Lab Technician for the former Lucent Technologies Corp. She enjoyed arts & crafts and personally handmade countless items from bracelets to wind chimes. Together with her friends, she would proudly display her vendor booth at craft fairs throughout Connecticut. In addition to her husband of 34 years, she is survived by her children, Deborah (Hal “Butch”) Broadbent of VA; David (Gerry Lynn) Walsh of Shelton; stepsons, Mark (Amy) Yandell of FL and Jeffrey (Jessica) Yandell of GA; brothers, Raymond and Robert Page, both of Milford; 4 cherished grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia is in care of arrangements.
