Obituary of Theodore John Krupa

KRUPA - Theodore John Krupa, age 94 of Ansonia, beloved husband of the late Emma Ferko Krupa, entered into eternal rest on November 3, 2015 at Griffin Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Ansonia on April 10, 1921, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Gluse Krupa. Mr. Krupa was a lifelong resident of Ansonia and member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church where he was active in the Knights of Columbus, Catholic War Veterans and the Holy Name Society. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and retired from Northeast Utilities as a chief customer service representative following 37 years of employment. Mr. Krupa is survived by his devoted children, Mary Ann Drenkhahn, of Ansonia, Patricia Sbrega and her husband, Raymond of Ansonia, Theodore “Skip” Krupa and his wife, Bonnie of Cairo, Egypt and Peter Krupa and his wife Channel of CA; sister, Virginia Hylwa of FL; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandson. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Krupa and brother, Walter Krupa. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 9:00 AM from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on at 10:00 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia. Military Honors will be accorded following Mass. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 8, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home, Panikhida at 6:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts.
