Obituary of Joan M. Kyle

KYLE - Joan M. Kyle, age 68, beloved wife of Arnold F. Kyle of Ansonia, died peacefully on March 8, 2015 in Griffin Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Warwick, RI on May 3, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Rose Chambers Thompson. Mrs. Kyle was a home maker; an avid gardener, always tending to her flower and vegetable gardens; and a talented artist that enjoyed arts & crafts. She will be remembered for her love of children and her fun loving nature and sense of humor. In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by her devoted children, James (Sandra) Kyle of KS, Nina Kyle of GA, Tina (Craig) Albright of NY, and Timothy (Katie) Kyle of Wethersfield; brother, James (Terri) Thompson of RI, Sister, Nancy Hellen of MD; cherished grandchildren, Amber Hitt, Angela Kyle, Connor & Brady Albright and Clara Kyle, as well as several nieces, nephews and her chihuahua “Poochie”. Mrs. Kyle was predeceased by a son, Arnold W. Kyle and a brother, Dennis (Nancy) Thompson. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 12:00 Noon, in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. Interment will be private.
