Obituary of Mildred Papa

PAPA- Mildred J. Papa, age 78, beloved wife of Philip Papa of Monroe, died May 3, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeport on March 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mildred McBride Neeley. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Phyllis Lund and her husband, Russell of Trumbull, Albert Papa and his wife Debbie of Shelton, Anna Marie Caiola and her husband, Randy of Trumbull, Kathleen Tarascio and her husband, Anthony of Southbury and Milly Zaleski and her husband, John of Shelton; 10 cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Papa was recently predeceased by a brother, Nicholas Neeley. Funeral Services will take place from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia, Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull at 10:15 AM. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
